Cochrum Aviation started as a dad and his son who both love airplanes, one full-size and one RC.
How it started
Jon earned his private pilot's license this year. Around the same time, he and his son Case started 3D printing RC planes at home and taking them to the field.
Building a plane and flying it yourself never gets old, whether it's a real airplane or one you printed in the garage. So we started writing down the stories and filming the flights.
This site is where it all lives: flight stories, RC builds, honest reviews and the lessons we learn along the way.
We also buy airplanes
Cochrum Aviation buys single-engine piston airplanes for cash and sells them on consignment. That includes Cessnas, Pipers and Beechcrafts, running or not, plus estate and inherited aircraft.
